Caribbean Poker Protocols and Tricks

Poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the casino instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier declares "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other gamblers attain 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager comes the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a figure in accordance with the initial wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pony’s up cash equal to your bet and fixed expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
