Caribbean Poker Rules and Tricks

Internet poker has become world famous recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier broadcasting "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different players acquire five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original bet, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes immediately to the casino. After the bet comes the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus a figure equal to the initial wager. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The bank pays out money equal to your wager and controlled expectations on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
