Terrible Luck in Poker

For a game where most gamblers occasionally consider luck, there are tonnes of superstitions in poker. When you mention that an individual was fortunate in that poker tournament they captured, be mindful of how you mention it. For example, if you mention that you were unlucky, your chances may not change.

Ok, that might appear to be a bit ubsurd, but poker is a casino game loaded with superstitions. Did you know that if you are playing a game with two different decks and you’re asked to pick the deck, you should always select the deck that’s the furthest away from you? Or, what If you have a run of bad cards, you must hang out on a hankerchief to destroy your terrible luck? It is certainly considered good fortune to blow through a deck of cards when they’re being shuffled.

A few other fascinating poker superstitions are:

  • You will be able to alter the run of cards by walking around your chair three times.
  • The most beneficial position at the poker table faces the entry.
  • The worst seat has its back to a fireplace.
  • When switching spots, you need to constantly do so clockwise.
  • The unluckiest poker card is the four of clubs.
  • It’s very unlucky to sit with your legs crossed at the poker table.
  • Fri is a horrible day for playing cards.
  • The 13th is also a terrible day, regardless of when it falls during the week.
